The four months of oak aging shows on the nose of this red with vanilla, cloves and aromas of cherry and red fruit. On the palate it’s light bodied with dusty tannin and shining acidity. There’s flavors of cherries, blueberries, dried tea leaf, and vanilla. It finishes tart with cranberries and oak. Year to year this wine is consistently a safe bet.
